Yep, most scientists thought galaxies have a similar amount of stars inside them and guess what? they dont. Not a big discovery but i guess it'll straighten out the facts of the unknown cosmos. The interesting thing though is the universe probably has three times as many stars as we though there were to exist. It's cool because that means there is many more planets that can possibly hold alien life. I once heard that from all planets studied, only fifty something could hold lifeforms similar to us, make it one hundred and fifty then. It has to be obvious though, there has to be bacteria in a couple thousand planets, there is no way all of these planets that have water, land and atmospheres don't have sub developed species living in them.
